The University of Ibadan has announced the opening of the portal for hostel accommodation application process for returning students (Staylites), today, Thursday, 12th of March, 2026.
Following several controversies regarding hostel accommodation for returning students (staylites), after a week of physical resumption, the University management had scheduled the hostel accommodation process for returning students (non-finalists) for Thursday 12th March, 2026 till Monday, 16th March, 2026.
The announcement was disclosed in a two-page memorandum signed by the Dean of Students, Professor Demola Lewis, on Thursday, 12th of March, 2026, with an apology for the delay.
