NEWS: UI Rotaract Club Gets New President

The Rotaract Club of the University of Ibadan has welcomed Olapade Adebayo beloved as the new president during the investiture that was held at the SRC Chambers on Friday, June 28th.

In Olapade’s inaugural speech as the 51st president, he expressed gratitude to the club members for entrusting him with this leadership position, reeled out some of his plans, and also promised to build on the legacies of previous presidents to uphold the club’s core values.

“Our club is a testament to the diversity, enthusiasm, and innovation of young leaders. Each one of you brings unique talents and perspectives, and it is this diversity that fuels our creativity and drive. Together, we will build on our past successes, explore new avenues of service, and create an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and inspired,” he said.

Also, the ceremony featured cultural performances and awards for outstanding members of the club.
