DREAM THEATRE HOLDS TRAINING WORKSHOP

Dream Theatre, a graphic designing and photography training workshop, successfully concluded its first edition on Saturday 26 September, 2015.

The program which ran for three Saturdays was held at the UISU conference room and was free for all participants who had to register online and were then shortlisted.

The tutors were Ezim Osai of the Osai Effect; Simeon Sodeinde of The Old Rugged; Seyi Owolabi of  Studios Innovante; Debbie Adegbaju of Kevwe photography; and Mosope Adebowale, a graphic designer who works with Konga.

The courses covered included introduction to Corel and Photoshop, Logo designing, photo editing and banner designing among others. Members were divided into small groups and had to work on projects which were then submitted online.

In an interview with a participant, Ogunlase Feyi, she said, “The program was dope. I learnt the basics of graphics and how to be innovative. I also learnt to work in teams and how to make friends out of strangers”.
