Diamond FM Management Hosts UCJUI Executives, Promises Strengthened Partnership

The 35th Executive Council of the Union of Campus Journalists, University of Ibadan on Wednesday paid a courtesy visit to the management of Diamond 101.1 FM.

Members of the executive council led by the President, Tobi Odeyinka, were welcomed by the Station Manager, Paul Emokhare.

Speaking with the council, Emokhare noted that the station is proud of the union’s commitment to journalism, noting that its in line with their continued commitment to serving as a breeding group for the finest broadcast journalists across the country.

He also reiterated the commitment of the station’s management to continue supporting the union by strengthening the already existing partnership between both organizations.

Earlier during the visit, the union President appreciated the management for its constant support over the past few years, noting that it’s invaluable.

He also appreciated the station for approving the union’s latest request for internship placements for its members at the end of the ongoing academic session.

After the meeting, the Station’s Newsroom head, Abu Mustapha, took members of the Executive Council on a tour across its various studios.
