The Asido Campus Network, a student association subsidiary of the Asido foundation, Nigeria at the University of Ibadan is holding its annual program, ” Matters That Matter” 2025.
The program which is themed,” Rhythm of life”, will be holding on The event will be holding on Saturday 13th 2025, at the Trenchard Hall, University of Ibadan by 10am.
This event will be tailored towards exploring different mental health conversations using different participatory activities such as rhythm, harmony, oratory performances and musical symphonies.
Speaking to Miracle Areelu, the Director of Programs for ACNUI, she stated that “The ‘Matters That Matter’ event is a suicide awareness and prevention initiative of the Asido Campus Network (ACN).”
“ACN is a student-led organization that focuses on students’ mental health and well-being. We work to create a safe, supportive space for students. Through awareness campaigns, peer-to-peer support, outreach programs, and research, we’re helping to break the stigma around mental health ensuring that no student feels alone in their journey.”
“This year, the theme of the event is Rhythm of Life. Matters that matter 3.0 focuses on harnessing the power of Music as a medium of communication. We are using music’s unique ability to evoke emotions and bring people together to unburden and promote healing.”
This event is a ticketed event as there are 4 categories of tickets available for the event. The due paying ambassadors ticket will be going for 500 naira, The non due paying Ambassadors ticket will be going for 1k, the non ambassadors ticket will be going for 1k, and VIP tickets be going for 5k.
