The suspended Public Relations Officer of the Great Independence Hall, Oyebode John, who was earlier suspended indefinitely at the 8th Plenary sitting of the House, has been reinstated on Friday, October 27, 2018.
At the 9th sitting of the same House, as according to a motion moved by the Chief Whip, Hon. Okpara Kelechi, it is evident that the PRO is remorseful and sorry for his rudeness and gross misconduct on the floor of the House, and that the House reinstate him in order not to jeopardize the activities of his office. In a counter motion, Hon. Doeju Goodluck moved a counter-motion that the PRO be reinstated upon apologising on the floor of the House, after which the motion moved by Hon. Caleb that the suspended PRO be reinstated was adopted.
As it stands, Mr. Oyebode John has been reinstated as the Public Relations Officer of the Great Independence Hall.
