INDY HOUSE REINSTATES AG, FINANCE COMMISSIONER

The once suspended Administrator-General of the Great Independence Hall, Mr. Bamidele Emmanuel, and the previously suspended Finance Commissioner, Mr. Oseni Ifeoluwa, were reinstated as Administrator-General and Finance Commissioner, yesterday, Friday, October 19, 2018, at the 8th Plenary of the Indy Hall House of Assembly, held at the Hall’s Junior Common Room.

The Administrator-General and the Finance Commissioner were reinstated due to the clouds that have been cleared as regards the #302, 667 which did not reflect in the hall’s account. As stated by the Vice-Chairman of the Audit Committee, Hon. Solomon Adesina, days after the suspension of both Administrator-General and Finance Commissioner, the duo met the committee with proof that the #302, 667 that did not reflect in the hall’s account were spent on projects duly approved by the House.

As regards the advert rights and money made from the gymnasium, the Vice-Chairman stated that the Administrator-General remitted the sums of #37, 000 and #12, 000, with proofs of payment passed around for everyone to see. The speaker, in his comment, commended the Administrator and the Finance Commissioner for the swift approach they made in clearing the air, and further stated that both arms of government are partners in progress.
