The Antagonists
Hard to find, is human desires
Difficult to know is their wants
Unable to discern, is people’s minds
Despite your gentleness to man
The antagonists are still not satisfied
Loving, caring, they hate you the more
Playing, laughing, they dislike you even more
The living satisfies not the livings
Only the dead makes some meanings
Then his rewards dwell in their mouths
His praises, every second they sing
Their untrue talks only glorify the deads
The Antagonist
His mind is tough, strong like rock
His heart is thick, ticking like clock
Every moment, it tiks, tiks, tiks and never stops
Always seeks others’ weaknesses and faults
He is a friend, a very close one
He is a family, a friendly one
He is a neighbour, a compound brother
He is a doting lover, an hazy pretender
He is a workmate, a jealous worker
He is a classmate, a devililish attacker
He is a roommate, a rumour monger
He is a leader, a diabolical and villain leader
The Antagonist
That who finds pleasures in other’s downfalls
That who derives joy in friend’s dooms
That who backbites, betrays, and lies
That who wails in the presence, and laughs
in the absence of the doomed
That who cries at another’s successes
And laughs at another’s failures
That who pokenoses in other’s matters
That who deceives his fellow friends
That who destroys other people’s homes
That who is not contented with what he owns
What can a man do to please thee?
There is a time for everything, and everybeing
My time be not yours
And yours be not mine
Nemesis expects the evil doers
