She wishes she could turn back the stiff hands of time,
And alter the things she hath done.
Say no where she had said yes,
Say yes where she had said no.
She wishes that time would hold still,
So she may never get old,
So she could have this beauty forever,
They wish sorry could change things,
They wish sorry would be enough.
Even the wizard wishes for more power,
To cast more spells,
We all wish we could have more,
Even though we have enough.
But wishes have no place in reality,
Our lives are not perfect,
They never will be,
And we keep on wishing
Wanting more than we have,
Remembering not what we have
Focusing on what we can never have;
Letting it impede our joy
Remember that what we have,
Someone else covets…
