NOW THAT THE ACTIVITIES HAVE STARTED

“The bad news is time flies; the good news is you are the pilot – Michael Altshuler”

Hall weeks, Students’ Union week, Christian Fellowships’ weeks, Jihad week, Departmental weeks, Faculty weeks, these and many more events have already begun, ended or will soon start at various places on campus. The duration of the second semester is quite short with stacks of activities to take place.

We need not remind one another that this is the 7th week of lectures, while some lectures have not even started, some students have not resumed for the new session and some are in school but have not even been attending classes. Time and tides waits for no man.

The final year students, who haven’t even started their Projects or having serious issues with their respective supervisors, should remember that “tick says the clock”. Irrespective of your current cumulative grade point accumulated (CGPA), without completing your final year project, you can’t be awarded your degree.

In the core of these several entertaining, educating and fun filled activities, we should not forget that we have less than 2 months to the 2nd semester examinations and carry out our primary assignments in the University dutifully.

It is therefore expedient for all of us to manage, plan and make judicious use of the short period we have left without missing out on all the fun and “paparazzis” from all these events. Remember that “to fail to prepare is to prepare to fail”.
