The Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of the University of Ibadan Students’ Union has announced its third emergency sitting of the 13th Assembly to deliberate on matters requiring immediate legislative attention.
This was contained in a notice dated August 31, 2026, signed by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. John Oludele, and the Clerk, Hon. Obi Chiamaka Joan. The sitting is scheduled to be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at the SRC Chamber, Kunle Adepeju Building, University of Ibadan, by 10am.
According to the notice, the sitting will feature the presentation of reports from the Finance, Inventory, Disciplinary, Constitutional Review, Standing Order Review and Bills Committees. The Union Week Event Plan is also listed for presentation and consideration.
The agenda further includes Any Other Business (AOB), allowing members to raise other relevant matters for consideration after the listed items.
The Council urged members to ensure their presence and active participation, noting that matters requiring its attention would be deliberated upon and duly resolved.
