Following an intense match of wits and banters, the 1st Leg of the Jaw War 2025 has its winners, including Nnamdi Azikiwe Hall, Sultan Bello Hall, Alexander Brown Hall, Idia Hall, and Obafemi Awolowo Hall.
The halls spoke on a variety of topics questioning the importance of food fortification in Africa, Climate Change as against food security in Nigeria and the importance of food aid as against farming in Nigeria.
At the end of the day, Bello had 85.1% against Indy’s 79.9%, while ABH secured a whooping 84.2% over Mellanby’s 78.28%. Zik Hall had 78.1%, a narrow win against Queens’ 76.4%. Awo Hall had 81.2% over Tedder’s 77% and Idia won 78.9% against Kuti’s 77%.
However, one of the hosts, Mr. Precious Ibeh made it clear that this was only the 1st Leg fixtures of the Hall Category of Jaw War 2025. His co-host was Miss. Oyindamola Fawehinmi.
UCJ’s Vice President Administration, Mr. Ogunleye Moboluwarin from ABH, won best speaker alongside Mr. Muiz Opeyemi from Bello Hall.
