Covenant Odedele has on Saturday, 5th of July 2025 delivered a state of the union address at the SRC sitting currently holding at the SRC Chambers.
The address, which contained details of the union activities for this semester, touched on issues pertaining to general students’ welfare, freshers’ welfare, the SU building, school fees, bursary, NELFUND funds, amongst others.
“As a Union, our challenges are enormous, but not insurmountable. The executive committee appreciates the generality of the University of Ibadan students, and particularly the Student Representative Council, for the support that our administration has been enjoying. We are also using this opportunity to solicit for more support as we remain committed to ensure that our union regains her enviable and rightful position as the father of intellectual unionism” he stated.
