At the ongoing UI SU Press Night and Presidential Debate, Ezekiel Agboola, Aspirants for the students Union PRO, addressed his stance on protests and union representation.
He emphasized his involvement in past protests. “I don’t know why the current PRO is not always part of the Union’s struggles, so I can’t speak for him. But for me, I’ve always been at the forefront of protests, right from my 100-level days,” he said.
However, he later clarified that his statement did not imply there was a protest during his first year but rather that he has remained active in student activism throughout his time on campus.
