President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Friday, appointed Chief Bisi Akande as the Governing Council Chairman of the University of Ibadan, UCJUI has learned.
This was contained in a list released by the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF) announcing the 225 members of the governing councils for various institutions earlier in the day.
According to the list, the former governor of Osun and the pioneer chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Chief Bisi Akande would be overseeing the activities of the University of Ibadan Governing Council as the Chairman.
