  • UI RELEASES 3RD BATCH OF THE ADMISSION LIST

ui logo University of Ibadan released the 3rd batch of the admission list for direct entry students and first year students on Saturday Novemb er 1st, 2014. Candidates who have been offered provisional admission have been asked to pay a sum of twenty thousand naira only as an acceptance fee of the admission offered. Clearance and registration exercise for admitted candidates begins on Monday, 4th November , 2014. Visit www.ui.edu.ng/admissions for more details.

 

  • UI SET TO HOLD 2014 CONVOCATION AND 66TH FOUNDATION DAY CEREMONIES

The 66th foundation day and 2014 convocation ceremonies have been scheduled to hold between Friday 7th November, 2014 and Monday 17th November, 2014. The program will feature the convocaui gatetion Jumat service, the convocation church service, convocation lecture, award of first degrees, diplomas and certificates to all graduands.

 

  • INTER-HALL COMPETITION KICKS OFF

The annual inter-hall competition commenced on Thursday 30th November, 2014 with an opening ceremony at Awo stadium. All halls of residence in the University  of Ibadan are participating in the competition. The competition will feature track and field events, football, volleyball, judo, chess, basketball and many more. Queen idia hall won a gold and silver medal in judo, a gold medal in swimming, two gold medals, two silver medals and 1 bronze medal in track and field events. Queen idia hall is set to play football against Obafemi Awolowo hall on Tuesday, 5th November, 2014 by 3pm at the sports pavilion after beating Queen Elizabeth II hall 3 goals to 1.

competition commenced on 30th Thursday, 2014 with an opening ceremony at Awo stadium. All halls of residence are expected to participate in the competition. The competition will feature Track and field events such as; Football, Judo, Chess, Basketball, Volleyball and many more. The event kicked off with an opening match between Kuti hall and Tedder hall with Kuti hall losing by two goals to nothing.

Queen Idia hall has had an impressive record so far having won a gold medal and silver medal in Judo, two gold medals in swimming, two gold medals in track and field, amongst others.

  • DEAN  OF LAW SET TO GIVE INAUGURAL LECTURE

scale of justiceThe Dean of the Faculty of law, Professor A.O Olatunbosun will give an Inaugural Lecture titled “Tough On Crime, Soft on Justice”on Thursday, 6th November, 2014 by 10am at Trenchard Hall, University of Ibadan.
