Nigerian gospel singer Kefee dies

Popular Nigerian gospel singer Kefee Obareki Don-Momoh has reportedly died in a hospital in the United States.

Known to her fans as the “Branama Queen”, she is believed to have become ill on a flight to the US about two weeks ago and fallen into a coma.

A published statement by her UK manager states that she had died of lung failure.

Married to DJ Teddy Don-Momoh, the star’s best-known hits are Branama and Kokoroko

Her music career reportedly began at the age of eight when she sang in a church choir.

Late Nollywood icon Amaka Igwe laid to rest

Movie producer, writer and director, Amaka Igwe has been finally laid to rest.
Igwe was on Friday buried in her country home in Arondizuogu,Imo State.
Present at the burial were Yibo Koko, Julius Agwu, Bob Manuel Udokwu, Paul Obazele, Peace Anyiam Osigwe of AMAA and several others in attendance.
The late movie icon will be forever missed by all in the industry, most especially for her wonderful contributions.

World’s Oldest Man Dies at 111

Born February 4, 1903, Alexander Imich, is a 111-year-old Polish psychic researcher, he died at a senior residence in New York City. He received the title after the previous record-holder—Italy’s Arturo Licata—died almost two months ago on April 24 at 111 years and 357 days. According to his longtime friend Michael Mannion, Imich chose to offer his body to Mount Sinai Medical Center for study. In an interview with The New York Times, the deceased made light of his old age, saying, “Not like it’s the Nobel Prize. I never thought I’d be that old.”

Omobaba features Patience Jonathan in new song

Comedian Omobaba has released the video of his single There is God Oh with special appearance by the first lady of Nigeria, Patience Jonathan.

The song features the emotional cry of the first lady and is a protest against the continuous killings in the northern parts of the country.

The video is directed by legendary Bunmi Davies, with cameo appearances by Okey Bakassi, Koffi, Seyi Law, Jafextra, Laff Up, Urch Mouth, GT the guitarman, D1 and SLK.

D’banj officially unveils artists on DBrecords

Dbanj has officially introduced the artists on his record label-DB record label, the musicians include, his younger brother Kayswitch, actress/ musician Tonto Dikeh, and singing duo, 2Kriss.

The artist made this known on his Instagram page, were he put up a picture of himself and the artists in the “Lee Temple” slang for his record label.
