The University of Ibadan on 13th September 2025 officially released the cut-off marks for admission into the 2025/2026 academic session.
Aspirants who sat for the last UI Post-UTME are advised to check the newly released marks on the University’s official website and proceed to their JAMB CAPS to accept their admission if they meet the required scores. Candidates who do not meet their department’s cut-off may be considered for transfer to another programme, although this is not guaranteed.



Among the key highlights, Medicine and Surgery tops the list with 78.875, followed closely by Nursing Science at 71.375 and Law at 70.875. Engineering courses such as Mechanical and Electrical Engineering also maintained high thresholds of 70.5 and 70 respectively. Meanwhile, most Education courses remained at a baseline of 50, while Social Sciences like Political Science, Economics, and Sociology posted cut-offs of 53.875, 58.125, and 51 respectively.
