The University of Ibadan has called for applications from qualified catering contractors to provide catering services in its students’ halls of residence for the 2025/2026 academic session. The announcement was made through a special release published in the University of Ibadan Bulletin on Thursday, January 8, 2026.
According to the release, interested applicants are required to obtain an application form upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ₦10,000. Payment is to be processed through the Student Affairs Division where applicants are to obtain an authority to pay, after which they must generate remita, pay into the bank, and obtain an official receipt from the Deputy Bursar (Grants), University of Ibadan.
Applicants are expected to submit comprehensive credentials, including their permanent home address, educational and professional background, and evidence of previous experience in hotel, industrial, or student catering services. Additional requirements include proof of bank credit worthiness supported by a letter from a bank manager, reference letters from two senior members of staff of the University, and any other relevant information.
Completed applications, accompanied by a photocopy of the official payment receipt, must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the Secretary, Catering Services Management Board, Student Affairs Division, University of Ibadan. All submissions must be made on or before Friday, January 16, 2026.
