UI’SU House Secretary, Adeyemi Oluwaseun Resigns from Office

The House Secretary of the University of Ibadan Students’ Union (UI’SU), Adeyemi Oluwaseun Olamilekan, has officially resigned from his position. His resignation letter, dated November 14, 2025 was addressed to the President of the Students’ Union.

In the letter, Adeyemi stated that he was stepping down immediately from his role as House Secretary, noting that he had served with sincerity and dedication.

“I, Mr. Oluwaseun Olamilekan Adeyemi, the University of Ibadan Student’s Union House Secretary, hereby immediately resign from my office as House Secretary of the University of Ibadan Student’s Union, having represented the interest and the welfare of the students and Executive committee with my sincere and committed efforts,” he wrote.

Adeyemi expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve the Union, acknowledging the support he received throughout his tenure. He added that he was moving on to a “new chapter,” while wishing continued growth for the Students’ Union.

The resignation letter was also copied to the University management, the Students’ Union Executive Committee, the Student’s Representative Council (SRC), and the Students’ Union Electoral Commission (SUEC).
