Adeboye Temidayo, popularly known as Deboye, has emerged winner of the 2026 Students’ Union presidential election at the University of Ibadan, following the release of official results by the Students’ Union Electoral Commission (SUEC).
Deboye polled a total of 2,943 votes to defeat his closest rival, Olawoye Emmanuel (Emmy), who secured 2,124 votes. A number of ballots were also recorded as undecided in the presidential race.
Results released across other contested positions showed victories in several offices, with candidates emerging unopposed in some categories, while others were closely contested.
