UI VC commissions borehole for Kunle Adepeju building

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, Professor Kayode Adebowale, commissioned a new borehole for the Kunle Adepeju Building on Friday, 28th October 2022. 

In his speech, the Vice Chancellor noted that the borehole which cost N1.5 million is one of the management’s efforts to ensure that water is available to all members of the University community.

He added that the management had completed other water projects, including a borehole for the servicing of the swimming pool and the Music department; the complete renovation of the Eleyele Dam and a pump station to reduce the use of the Awba dam.

The UI SU President, Adewole Adeyinka, and his vice, Ìbùkúnolúwa Zainab Oluotanmi, appreciated the school management.

After commissioning the borehole, the Vice-Chancellor and other officials of the UI management visited the Faculty of Agriculture to commission the new faculty Signage sponsored by Revd Dr John C Aniemeke and a Digital Display system.

Officials present include Professor Aderonke M. Baiyeroju, Deputy VC (Acad), Dr. Comfort Aiki Raji, Deputy Dean of Students, Mrs Akinpelu, Directorate of Publicity, Professor Stella Odebode, Dean of Faculty of Agriculture, Heads of Departments, the Dean of Renewable Resources represented by Dr. Joke Akinyemi, and other members of the Students Union, Faculty of Agriculture, and University management.
