The University of Ibadan Student Union in a memo released on Tuesday 3rd of June 2025 has informed the student populace of a two weeks extension of the initial deadline of school fees and course registration.
The deadline which was slated for June 6th has been extended to Friday 20th of June 2025.
The memo also stated that this update has been achieved since last month, but the information was withheld from the populace in order to work with the bursary unit to fast track the process of previous session refunds.
Also, the memo mentioned the successful reversal of the studio fee for the 300 level, 400 level and 500 level students in the Faculty of Technology, as well as students in the Department of Science and Technology.
The released memo like wise urged NELFUND applicants to check their portal regularly as disbursement should begin from today, as discussed through the Students’ Union engagement with the body and the school management.
The Students’ Union also urged all students to not only take advantage of the window to pay their fees, but also to do their course registration.
The circular also reinforced the Student Union stance.
