Two University of Ibadan Law students—Yusuf Aishat and Odebiyi Anjola—have emerged first and second place winners respectively at The Thinkers Program (TTP), a competition organised by the Faculty of Law Literary and Debating Society, University of Ibadan.
The third place winner, Jimoh Abdulwahab, is also a Law student at the University of Abuja.
The modalities for participating in the competition included the following: the participants must follow the social media platforms of the organisers on Instagram and LinkedIn; submit a proof of studentship alongside his entry; his full name and name of his institution; record his speech with WhatsApp voice note feature only and must not exceed the specified minutes required by more than 10 seconds.
The organisers said the goal of the competition, which was made available to all undergraduates in Nigeria, is to encourage wit, spontaneity and critical thinking on select topics as it featured a synergy of public speaking and writing contests
