Covenant Odedele, a medical student at the University of Ibadan, joined the 6-man delegation team who received The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry and his wife, Princess Meghan in Nigeria during the weekend.
The delegation met with Prince Harry and Princess Meghan at The Dellborough Hotel, Lagos as part of the lineup of activities to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Game, an initiative of the Prince.
The 6-man delegation team consists of Covenant Odedele, Olalekan Samuel Ajayi, Onyinye Omenugha, Christiana Igbokwe, Oladotun Ajayi and Erezi Edoreh who were all 2023 Nigerian Diana Award recipients.
Recall that Covenant had won the Diana Award for co-founding ‘Students on LinkedIn’, a social enterprise and resource hub that helps university students capitalise LinkedIn, and also equips them with resources for employment readiness and opportunities for professional networking; reaching over 50,000 students in over 15 countries.
