Professor Olawale Albert, a Professor at the Faculty of Humanitarian Studies of the University has called for the inclusion of youth in the implementation of policies for peaceful and sustainable development, according to LIVETIMESNG.
Professor Olawale Albert made this call during the celebration of the International Day of Peace 2021 organised by the Postgraduate students of the Department of Peace, Security and Humanitarian Studies. University of Ibadan.
Professor Albert, a renowned peace scholar said there is a need for youths to key into international programs such as those of the World Health Organization and the United Nations.
In a similar vein, Mr. Omowon, a public affairs analyst urged the youth to be involved in positive activities that will contribute to the development of Nigeria.
“Youths should not just sit down and play dormant role in nation building and politics, but strive and joined in the struggle for power and make judicious use of the opportunities to develop the future they want,” he added.
