As of 12:35pm, Awo Hall was leading in the total number of votes cast in the ongoing Students’ Union election with a total of 835 votes. Coming closely behind is Queen Idia Hall with 821 votes, while Nnamdi Azikiwe Hall follows with 676 votes.
Independence Hall has recorded 473 votes so far, Kenneth Mellanby Hall has 383, and Tedder Hall stands at 277 votes. Sultan Bello Hall has gathered 256 votes, while Kuti Hall follows with 234 votes. ABH comes next with 75 votes.
Among the postgraduate hostels, Abdulsalami Abubakar Hall is currently leading with 85 votes, followed by Ayodele Falase with 28. Tafawa Balewa has 6 votes, Alumni Postgraduate Hall has 3, and Adetoun Ogunseye has just 2 votes.
Voting is still ongoing and is expected to end by 2 PM today.
