UI College of Medicine Resumes Physical activities

The College of Medicine, University of Ibadan (CoMUI) in a press release dated Monday, January 10 has announced the resumption of physical academic activities in the college.


The press release, which is directed at all staff and students of the college, explains that the physical resumption is possible due to the reduction in the number of COVID-19 cases recorded in the Alexander Brown Hall.


The college had, on December 24, 2021, announced the suspension of physical academic activities in a bid to curb the spread of COVID-19.


However, the college is now opened with certain clauses which include but not limited to the following:

  1. Only students officially staying in Alexander Brown Hall will be allowed in (Absolutely no visitors)
  2. The food service in the ABH cafeteria remains take-away only
  3. Students, who develop malaria-like or COVID-19 symptoms, should promptly report to either the Hall Chairman (Brownites) or to the President of their association.
    The staff and students are also advised to observe other COVID-19 guidelines.
