Two Halls of residence have been approved for the students undergoing their Industrial Training, IT, for the 2020/2021 session.
This was made known in a release signed by the President and Public Relations Officer of the University of Ibadan Students’ Union.
On how students will get the accommodation, the release reads in part: “We will like to inform further that interested Students should register at the Students’ Affairs Division from tomorrow 10th of November 2020 to Tuesday, 17th of November 2020. The attached fee to be paid would be communicated in due course.”
It should be noted that all other faculties except the Faculty of Agriculture and are yet to begin their own Industrial Training which is known as Practice Year Training Program (PYTP). Recall that her sister Faculty, Faculty of Renewable Natural Resources, however, began their PYTP but halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic and has not resumed ever since.
