The Union of Campus Journalists, University of Ibadan is pleased to announce the final shortlist for the annual awards for individual campus journalists and Local Press Organizations (LPO).
The Editor-in-Chief, Tijani Abdulkabeer, expressed excitement at the high level of competitiveness in the awards. “The quality of this year’s entries is quite impressive and a testament to the efforts that campus journalists put into chasing excellence in the stories that they tell,” he said.
He noted that the grading committee had a tough time coming up with a shortlist. While only one winners would be awarded across the various categories available, he hope that campus journalists and LPOs will be motivated to do better.
