The Union of Campus Journalists, University of Ibadan (UCJ UI) has officially launched the latest edition of its Campulse Magazine today, Saturday, 11th of October, 2025.
The magazine themed “Education That Educates: Raising Thinkers In A System Designed For Survival” was launched as part of its 5-in-1 events.
The magazine, containing interviews, articles, satires, past activities of the union, photojournalism, amongst others is said to amplify student voices and highlight societal issues through the lens of young journalists, reinforcing UCJ UI’s legacy of ethical and professional journalism according to the UCJ UI press release about the magazine launch.
The magazine launch was conducted together with the investiture of a new patron of the UCJ UI, Mr. Omotosho Gbenga, the Hon. Commissioner for Information and Strategy of Lagos State, with the commissioner giving remarks about the Magazine, the UCJUI and the world of journalism at large.
