The Associate Editor of the Union of Campus Journalists, University of Ibadan, Aanuoluwatomiwa Oke, has published her first novel titled: ‘Lady Madonna: The Ray of Humanity’.
Aanuoluwatomiwa tells the story of a young lady who bears the burden of the knowledge of sexual abuse suffered by her friend while her heart endures the agony of helplessness and uncertainty.
Rosemarie is perpetually tense; pain and anger stoke the fire in her heart, as the unjust nature of the world leaves victims of circumstances deprived. She sees a dear friend suffer sexual abuse, and the adverse effect is unbearable to her. For she’s one of those who suffer as a witness of evil in the predator-prey world. And she can only hope that answers will soon unfold.

Aanuoluwatomiwa Oke is a penultimate student of Philosophy and a member of UCJ UI, occupying the position of Associate Editor.
She is a former delegate for International Model United Nations, and she yearns for the attainment of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal on Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions. She is currently a registered Amnesty International Student at Amnesty’s Human Rights Academy, fostered with the goal of strengthening the human rights movement through action-oriented education. Her life majorly revolves around Christianity, Creativity and Content.
