THEATRE ARTS STARTS INITIATION CEREMONY

The annual initiation ceremony of the Department of Theatre Arts commences on Monday 15th June, 2015, and ends Friday 19 June 2015. This year’s ceremony is going to be the 41^st initiation ceremony with the theme being ‘Living the Root: the path towards integrity and discipline’. The initiation will consists of events such as symposiums to be handled by Yomi Layinka, Chief Operating Officer, BCOS, Austen Peters, the producer of Saro the Musical, and Taiwo Ajayi Lycett, a renowned actress, an initiation play titled Rogbodiyan directed by Adedeji Temitope, Oratory Competition, Thespian Night and the initiation proper. The Chief Priests of the initiation are Prof. Ojo Rasaki and Dr. Kola Oyewo and the Chief Priestess is Ireti Osayemi. The initiation proper will hold on Friday by 4pm, for a gate of #1000 only.
