Have you heard our bells jingle?
Or dawned on by the lullabies chirped by our birds?
The trees are silent, because,
they don’t want their bark
perforated by SDC parasites.
Have you seen the street airing our agony?
Or perhaps soaked with tears from our sky?
The gods are silent,
because their voices are heard by the deaf.
Have you heard the incantation of our drum?
Or your ears imbued with our solidarity notes?
We stopped dancing,
for their beat is for our defeat.
