An aspirant vying for the position of the Students’ Union Assistant General Secretary, Mr. Babalola Emmanuel Temitope popularly called BET had said some students of the University of Ibadan do not know where the Students’ Union building is located.
He said this during the Press night which was held at the Trenchard Hall in the University.
BET said he aimed at disseminating information to pressmen as well as make the social and academic lives of students better. He added that for the freshmen, campus tour will be conducted so as to familiarize them with different places in the University.
According to him, “I plan on disseminating information to freshers before they resume…some students don’t know where the students’ union is, that is the purpose of the campus tour.”
“So many Uites don’t know what NANS is” he added.
