Six UI Graduates Awarded #1.5M BATNF Agripreneur Grants

Six Graduates of the University of Ibadan were awarded Agripreneur Grants worth 1.5 million naira by the British American Tobacco Nigeria Foundation (BATNF).

This was announced in a post by the University on it’s official X handle.

According to the post, the awardees were Samuel Afolabi, Akintayo Akintunde, Ojo Florence, Kehinde Amuo Soliu, Khadeejah Owolabi and Eyitayo Ojo.

The University also projected innovative reformations in the agribusiness by the aforementioned awardees.

“(They) will drive innovative agribusiness with mentorship and support. Congratulations.” The post read.

BATNF Agripreneur Grant, specifically the Graduate Agripreneur Programme (GAP), is a grant program that supports young Nigerian Graduates in starting or scaling their agribusiness.
