I’ll be the first to admit that ladies are like the most unpredictable bunch of Homo sapiens on the surface of the earth (with all the mood swings, menstrual cramps and constant bitchyness, I think we have earned that title). However unpredictable we might be, there still some standard signs that can
’t be missed.
A city set upon a hill cannot be hidden. If a lady likes you, she really can’t do a good job of hiding it and if she doesn’t, it’s always as plain as day. However sometimes a guy might mistake the signals that she doesn’t like him to proving hard to get. So, being the girl that I am, I decided to give the male readers a few tips as to how girls act when they are not digging you, because if she’s not interested, then she’s not interested . I might be wrong but I’ll bet my Bachelor of Arts degree that I’m right.
She never calls:
Bros , forget whatever reason she gives you; habit ( I just don’t like calling people ), airtime,( oh sorry I don’t usually have airtime), that’s like the most common white lie I have ever heard, the truth is that if you are important to her she’s definitely going to call you. You know what, send her airtime and she’ll probably only call to say thanks. But then, some girls still won’t call to say thanks (I think I’m guilty of that too).
Although it’s not always that bad, sometimes she might just call to say hi (but don’t get your hopes high she’s probably calling to remind you of the phone you wanted to buy for her or to ask you to come pick her up because she’s stranded with her friends and they need a ride).
She never hangs out with you alone:
Make no mistake that she wants you to meet her friends she doesn’t just want to spend time with you. You see when a girl likes you she wants to keep your attention to herself alone.
This is not the 18th century any more when relationships needed middle men (I’m glad I wasn’t born then). If anytime you want to take her to the cinema, to eat out, to the zoo (yeah some guys still do that… seriously?) or even to take a walk, she’s always in the company of her friends, then my dear brother that’s a classic signal that she not only does not like you, she doesn’t want to be seen with you and she can’t stand your presence (pick any one).
She’s always telling you about her financial problems:
Man oh man, this girl is only interested in taking you as a mugu (seek the dictionary for meaning). She doesn’t need a shoulder to cry on, she just needs you to get a new phone, a new laptop, to go shopping. You probably even think you are the only one she talks to, and being the nice guy that you are, you swoop to her rescue and she says thank you by shaking your hand… seriously?. How obvious can it get? You probably need her to put it on national TV before you get the message
Always on speaker:
Every time you call her you get the feeling that the phone is on speaker. You hear her friends snickering and giggling (you are probably right). Bros, you have become a laughing stock for the girl and her roommates. But don’t blame her; you guys probably do the same too. But think about it this way; you have managed to lighten up her world with your many poems.
She never visits:
This should probably be the first signal that she doesn’t like you and she’ll never be your girlfriend but I guess you are waiting for a miracle huh?
No display of affection:
Although this doesn’t apply in all cases (not all ladies like public display of affection) but come on you can’t hold hands or even hug in public (whispers) she’s so not into you or it could be that your palms are sweaty or you have body odour.
She flirts with other guys in front of you:
Bros don’t get it twisted she’s not trying to make you jealous she probably doesn’t even flirt with you. Get the signal and get the next train out of her life.
She’s quiet around you:
Naturally, ladies like to talk and forget the shy ones, once a lady likes you, she’ll want to tell you everything that happened each day, right from the food she ate to the test she wrote. But if she doesn’t tell you nada and you are always running conversation for the both of you then it is time to move on.
I could go on and on but I really don’t want to spoil market for some babes. I hope I’ve been able to convince and not confuse you (lol) that the girl is not just into you.
