10-man Political science have today, August 13th 2024, defeated Human Kinetics to advance into the quarter finals of Seals Cup.
Political Science began the game as the better of the two sides with Pogba and Oba pulling the strings and causing havoc for the Faculty of Education side.
Oba scored the only goal of the game and a goal of the tournament contender when he cut in beautifully from the left side and rifled a well taken shot into the top left corner.
The left winger’s goal came after he expertly beat three defenders on the left edge of the Human Kinetics penalty area and was on the back of a couple of dangerous plays down the left.
Political science went down to 10 men when their number 16 man received his second booking of the game.
Despite being a man down, Political Science held their own to see out the game and qualify for the next round of the competition.
