The first half of the game went underway with veterinary medicine failing to capitalise on a stray pass from a philosophy defender. Veterinary medicine dominated the early proceedings, crafting a coupling of half chances.

The second half resumed with Orodin pulling save after save to keep the score even. John of Philosophy came alive in the second half with him seeing his shot saved by the spectacular Orodin.

After a long period of dominance from the defending champions. a goal finally came against the run of play. Veterinary medicine’s Hessy found the net with a beautiful goal after a sublime pass from his teammate.
The referee signalled the end of the game shortly after Hessy’s goal, condemning the defending champions to their first defeat of Seals Cup 2024. Speaking after a man of the match display to earn his team a much deserved victory, Orodin expressed delight, saying that he was proud of his team’s performance. “With performances like this, we want to put our faculty on the map of football in the university, he added.
