Hundreds of UI students have taken to the streets to celebrate the victory of Samson Tobiloba Host and other aspirants who emerged winners in the Students’ Union election held today.
Several students among those celebrating across various halls in the institution in what has taken the turn of a rally described the outcome as a true reflection of their choices.
“Today is my happiest day ever,” one of those celebrating told UCJUI reporters as he throw off his shirt.
The supporters have also thrown various jabs at losers of the election. At Tedder, the celebrating students observed a minute of silence for the Olalekan Michael Ajibola, a Presidential aspirant from the hall.
