The Union of Campus Journalists, University of Ibadan wishes to inform the general public most especially students of Nigerian Higher Institution who are campus journalists of the 2nd edition of the Hammed Ibrahim Campus Photo Contest (HIBPC).
The Hammed Ibrahim Campus Photo Contest is a competition that seeks to correct societal anomalies most especially those that threatens peaceful coexistence of humans. Also, it is an avenue to promote the spirit of photojournalism among campus journalists. The theme for this year’s contest is: ‘ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT: A LOOK THROUGH THE LENS’
How to Participate
– Participants should upload a minimum of five pictures on Instagram (@ucjui) and with the hashtag #HIBphotocontest #UCJUI@30
– Pictures should have a caption of not more than 100words
General Guidelines
– Pictures submitted should xray environmental issues in its entirety with strategic reference to possible solutions and ways on how it can enhance sustainable living.
– All pictures must be original work of the participant
– Pictures format should be JPEG not more than 2MB or 1500×2100 pixel (coloured or monochrome)
Prizes
– 1st Position – N50,000
– 2nd Position – N30,000
– 3rd Position – N20,000
– 4th and 5th Position – Internship opportunity
