The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, Prof. Kayode Adebowale, in conjunction with African Research Security Consortium set to host a webinar on Academic Research Security (ARSC).
The webinar will be held from July 25-26 and it’s going to combine both virtual with in-person sessions set to be at the NCC Lab Building, Faculty of Technology, University of Ibadan.
According to the organizers, the webinar is to support ARSC initiatives to develop a functional research security framework in Africa starting from Nigeria and to counter efforts of malign actors while mitigating intellectual property theft.
Also, the webinar will hold for two hours, 10am-12pm, on each day.
