NEWS: Oluseun Fatope, Adeyemo Mercy, Others Bag Awards At UCJUI 36th Induction

Oluseun Fatope, a newly inducted member from the AFAS Press Organization has been announced as the Best Inductee and Winner of the Martins Isaac Prize for this recognition.

This announcement was made during the Global Campus Journalism Summit & 36th Induction Ceremony that held on Saturday, November 30, at the KAAF Auditorium.

Recall that UCJUI had previously announced six names as part of the final shortlist for this award but Fatope emerged winner and he’s to receive N100,000 worth of prize.

Also, Jesutomiwo Adebumowa, who was also a finalist for the Martins Isaac Prize was announced as the ‘Most Energetic Inductee’ and she would also be getting cash prize for this recognition.

Adeyemo Mery of the Law Press Organization finished as the winner of the Sunday Oguntola Essay Competition for campus journalists. Oludare Funmilola clinched the first-runner up position while Sakeenah Kareem finished as the second-runner up.
