The application for the Millennium Fellowship Class of 2021 has commenced for undergraduates in various university campuses around the world.
The Millennium Fellowship is an initiative of the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) and the Millennium Campus Network (MCN). The Fellowship is a semester-long leadership development program that seeks to convene, challenge, and celebrate student leadership for the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
With over 7000 alumni from over 300 universities in more than 50 countries, the Millennium Fellowship has provided an opportunity for young and vibrant students to hone their leadership skills by gaining access to world-class training, connections, and recognition.
In 2020, not less than 25 students of the University of Ibadan participated in the program.
In an official mail to UCJ UI, Sam Vaghar, the Executive Director of MCN, expressed his delight as a cohort of the University of Ibadan graduated from the Fellowship.
“I am thrilled to share that a cohort of Millennium Fellows at the University of Ibadan has successfully graduated. Congratulations on this milestone!” he stated.
The Millennium Fellowship is a robust global network and undergraduates worldwide are invited to apply. The application ends on January 31, 2021.
