Following the hall management’s imposement of a 2k fine on students who remained in Kuti Hall after the expiration of the 2PM deadline, the situation outside the hall premises has since been chaotic.
A crowd present outside Kuti Hall are agitating against the management’s decision to impose fines on residents as defaulters who have paid the fine exit the hall.
Some student leaders within the university community have also been on site to lend their voices to the situation.
The hall management has since refused to back down and have reportedly threatened to increase the fine to 3k.
