Aspirant for the position of Treasurer, Bioku Joshua, in the ongoing UISU Press night UISU, has pledged to address the issue of malfunctioning ATMs on campus.
Speaking at the ongoing UI SU Press Night and Presidential Debate 2024/2025, Bioku promised to engage directly with banks and report them to the Central Bank of Nigeria if they fail to resolve the problem.
“I will reach out to the banks themself. Also, I will call the number and email the Central Bank of Nigeria to report the banks if they fail to fix up,” he said
Students have repeatedly complained about faulty ATMs, which make cash withdrawals difficult. Bioku’s promise adds to the growing list of campaign pledges ahead of the elections.
