Students have expressed strong support for the potential closure of the school, should their demands for a reversal of the recent tuition fee hike remain unmet.
This stance was made clear following the meeting between the university management and Student Union leaders, where a three-week deadline for fee payment was proposed.
Addressing students about the outcome of the meeting, the Speaker of the Student Representative Council (SRC) warned that if the protests continue, the university may be forced to shut down, sending all students back home.
Far from being deterred by the prospect of a school closure, the students responded with overwhelming support, signaling their willingness to endure the consequences in order to maintain pressure on the administration.
