Following the meeting with the Students Union Leaders, Prof. Olapegba, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Admin, addressed the student populace but they were not pleased with the address.
While speaking, he noted that the management had heard the grievances of the students and efforts are ongoing to ensure that the concerns are addressed.
However, responding, Aduwo Ayodele, one of the lead protesters, read out the resolution of the students on the issues and further emphasized that students won’t end the protest until the demands are met.
As it stands, the management meeting with student leaders has been adjourned, and will reconvene this afternoon, for further deliberations.
