The University of Ibadan students currently protesting against the hike in fees have now layed siege at Faculty of Technology Lecture Theatre to mobilize other students to join the mass action.
The protesters who have grown in their numbers from Mellanby, Tedder and Kenneth Dike Library are now at Technology Lecture Theatre en route Obafemi Awolowo Hall.
Attempts to coax readers to put an end to their reading and join the protest were however met with some firm resistance.
As of press time, some protesters are seen engaged in heated verbal exchanges as others march on to the neighboring Obafemi Awolowo Hall.
