LEARN FROM YOUR CHALLENGES BEFORE SEEKING SOLUTIONS

There is this common occurrence with some people when they are passing through any period of hardship what they are majorly concerned about is how they can come out of it. They never consider whether what they assume to be solution to their predicament is genuine or not. Because of this lackadaisical attitude to the ways the solution will come, instead of solution, they end up breeding more problems for themselves through what first seems like a solution. No matter how severe the challenge one is passing through, one must not lose one’s sense of objectivity, one should take time to think and learn something from what one is passing through. Never must you think that pain does not have its lesson to pass you. Infact, there is no gain in any venture on this planet earth without pain. IT IS NO PAIN, NO GAIN. The pains that come your way may be telling you how not to do certain things, or how to improve yourself on what you are doing, and if you only see the pains, you may miss the vital lessons of life that may have helped you improve your lifespan. You must underscore this, that there is nothing you are passing through that is peculiar to you alone; others somewhere, sometime have passed through the same issues and got rid of them, not only that they got rid of them, they came out a better person. If you are too anxious of coming out of troubles without enduring the period to learn and read the handwriting on the wall of your life, you may throw away the baby with the bath water.

Let us all learn lessons from Nigerian political landscape and national development, what the majority are clamouring for before the recent general election was change. Meanwhile, it is very difficult for most people to describe the kind of change they expect. The election processes came and so many of us voted. Lo and behold, just few days after the swearing-in, the house of senate and house of representative now face a kind of pandemonium due to power tussle (that is, who will be the head of this and that). Shortly, do people see that, some of these elected politicians are only there for their self-gratification; masses should not expect much from them. The problem obviously, is that this nation is yet to learn from her predicaments before going after solutions. To know the kind of change we need and deserve in this nation and kind of people that bring about the change, all hands must be on deck and seriously look into our predicament, learn the lessons thereof and objectively without any sentiment proffer lasting solutions. Nobody can proffer solution to any problem that he or she has not studied. The hidden truth is that, problems do not come to destroy, rather they come to pass lesson(s). Are you ready to learn from your challenges? When you learn from your challenges, it is certain that you will proffer right solutions!
